Experience:
I got started as a carpenter in 1986. Working directly for the builder
(Babe Brothers Builders, Inc.),we did rough & finish carpentry, siding, roofing
and every thing in between.I was able to learn about many different trades in
my 9+ years there. After a brief 6 month stay at California Closets I joined
Thuot Builders, Inc. I vastly broadened my skill level with Thuot improving my
skill level in areas such as routing doors, working on elaborate staircases,
detailed trim and mouldings. Over the last 10+ years, while with Thuot, I have
been able to work with many of the areas' home builders. Working on
everything from starter homes to multi million dollar homes has been a great
experience dealing with many different aspects of the building trade.
Philosophy:
I started my business in May of 2004 with the intent of staying small,
and very hands on. While many builders do a good job constructing a home,
many are more worried about profit than quality. I believe there are many
ways to be economical while still providing the highest of quality. A business is
only as good as it's worst employee, or subcontractor. I have dealt with and
built good relationships with many of my subs for 20 years. Having worked for
may different builders I have also learned a few to stay away from.
I put my name on the business because I take a lot of pride in my work. I
will stand behind my work. I will be the one you deal with from start to finish,
you won't be passed on down the line and forgotten about once a contract is
signed. I'm not just a salesman. I will be on the job site with hammer in hand to
make sure completed to the highest standards. I enjoy working with people
and helping your ideas and dreams become reality.
Personal:
I was born and raised in Genesee Depot, graduated from Kettle
Moraine High School and attended Waukesha County Technical College. I
have been married to my wife Lynn for 13 years and we have two great kids.
I love this area so be assured I will be around for many years to come.
